International Space Station book published by former pupil David Nixon

Former Milton Abbey pupil David Nixon (Damer, 1964), has become the first person to publish a comprehensive history of the International Space Station.

David, an architect with a particular interest in designing for space exploration, was among a handful of architects invited to work on the design of the International Space Station.

His book, the result of seven years of research, provides a complex history of this extraordinary project, and provides the first comprehensive account of the International Space Station's conception, development and assembly in space.
