We are pleased to announce that the programme of MASPA (Milton Abbey School Parents' Association) events for the Summer Term is now available. MASPA has enjoyed another fantastic term with over 170 parents taking part in one or more event. From culture (the Tate Modern tour) to history (Holkham Hall visit), to good old fashioned fun (skiing in Saas Fee), we aim to include something to tempt all our parents and are delighted that our friendly parent community has gone from strength to strength in recent terms, with many firm friendships forged and lots of fun had along the way! We would like to thank each and every person who has come along and supported the events, and to everyone who has helped with the planning. Looking ahead to the Summer Term we have another varied programme of events and activities to tempt both mothers and fathers. Our first event will be a lunch and private viewing of Amanda Wakeley's latest collection, followed by our first overnight trip of the term - a visit to some of Kent's most beautiful houses and gardens. Our popular termly parents' lunch will take place on Friday 13 May, this time for our Middle Sixth Form parents, followed by a fabulous cookery demonstration and lunch with Emma Marshall on Thursday 19 May. We are in for a real treat on Sunday 12 June when we will be visiting the extraordinary private vintage and classic car collection owned by Milton Abbey parents Robert and Tanya Lewis - an absolute must for both mothers and fathers! Our final trip of the term will be a weekend's wine tasting in Tuscany including private tours and tastings at two of the famous Antinori wine estates. We are also taking bookings for our early Michaelmas Term Dorset cycling weekend - a must for all those road cycling enthusiasts amongst us! Do look out for further details in the Summer Term MASPA booklet or alternatively visit the Parents' Association section of our website. We very much look forward to seeing you at one or more of our events next term.
