A Levels

Advanced Level (A Level) qualifications are typically studied over a two-year period after the successful completion of GCSEs, and are the most common pre-university qualification taken by pupils in England.

A Levels bring many benefits and pupils usually select three subjects to study which particularly interest them and are relevant to their future career plans.  A Level courses available at Milton Abbey range from traditional subjects such as Economics, History and the Sciences, to more modern subjects including Communication and Culture, Government and Politics, and Music Technology.

Career paths after A Levels can include application to university or other higher education courses, apprenticeships, or going directly into employment.

Full details of A Level courses on offer are provided in the supplementary information booklet which is available to download from the iPoint box on this page.
